I had two daughters back to back because they are 11 months apart. To say the least, my body was needing some major help! When my kids were under a year and a half, I tried dropping them off at the Y in the childcare center while working out, but it was about 20 minutes later until I would have to go and get them because they were crying. To make a long story short, I needed to do something different that didn’t involved the local gym.
One day I say Kim posting a 30-day Shakeology challenge on Facebook and thought that I should ask her what this was all about. After hearing about the price of Shakeology alone, I had hesitations but thought that I would at least give it a month. (I also knew that if I didn’t see results, I could simply send it back and I would get my money back.) I started working out to Turbofire, cut gluten out of my diet and ate cleaner, and replaced a meal daily with Shakeology. 6 weeks later I was down 10 lbs and felt amazing!! I continued with Shakeology and signed up as a coach just for the discount because I knew that I wasn’t wanting to stop this great routine I had started. After completing Turbofire and 3 months of cleaner eating and Shakeology, I was down 18 pounds and ready to take-on my next program.

A year and a half later, I have now completed ChaLEAN Extreme, P90X, Insanity, and the Ultimate Reset and in the best shape of my life. I’ve lost a total of 27 lbs and trying to maintain weight and build muscle. I’m also loving paying it forward and currently a Diamond Coach for the best company!!

Some people get to a turning point in their lives when they know they need to make some changes. For me it was knowing that 30 was right around the corner. The positive changes I have made has made me realize that you can do anything you put your mind to as long as you commit yourself and quit making excuses!

For as long as I can remember I have had my ups and downs in the weight department but I could never keep it off. I have realized how amazing it feels to push yourself not just go to the gym to say I went. If you want results you have to push yourself but that does not mean you have to workout for hours a day!

I decided it was time for a real change. I have went from lazy couch potato to completing P90X, ChaLEAN Extreme & Insanity!!Not to mention that I have lost over 40 pounds and over 24 total inches!! I feel great and now I know I am in it for life!!

Shortly after starting P90X I started drinking Shakeology and then I really started to see the weight coming off and my energy increase. I became a Beachbody Coach originally for the discount and then I realized how my story could help others that were stuggling with the same issues I had always had. I know I wouldn’t have made it through without the help of my Beachbody Coach and other coaches I had met that kept me accountable.

Through this journey I not only changed the way my body looked; I also changed my health, have more confidence and now share fitness with the community! I have met so many motivating and supportive friends through the Beachbody network!

I’ve always been pretty active…playing volleyball, basketball and running track throughout high school and into college but working out was always pretty boring for me. It was always just going to the gym and doing some form of cardio (running or elliptical) and a little bit of weight training, but I never thought it could be fun! After college I continued playing in a few volleyball leagues and running on my own, but I never really enjoyed working out or felt the addiction that some people talked about. After getting married in 2008, It was easy to let go a bit and not work out every single day. In November of 2011 I was probably the most out of shape I’d been in a long time and realized going to the gym just wasn’t working for me. I needed to make a change. 

One of my friends loaned me his copy of Insanity and said when I was done with it I should pass it on to someone else. Well, I did the first month, then the second month…and realized I seriously loved this workout. It pushed me in ways that I had never been pushed before. So I repeated the second month, and then I repeated it again and again and again. As of right now, I have repeated it 6 times and I’m not sick of it yet! 🙂 Needless to say I finally found that perfect workout for me and the “addiction” that other people had talked about!

I have always had the desire to help people in some way and becoming a Beachbody Coach was the perfect way to do that. I love that it’s focused on promoting a healthy lifestyle and building relationships with people. I am passionate about helping people reach their goals, because Beachbody has helped me reach mine!!
